This Week in The Feel Better Letter 👇

✅ Progress isn’t measured by fewer thoughts — it’s measured by less resistance.
âś… Trying to eliminate thoughts and feelings keeps the loop alive.
✅ Your relationship to the experience determines whether you’re moving forward.
✅ New episode: OCD Made You Feel Nothing? Here’s How to Feel Alive Again

Matt's Message of the Week

How to Know If You’re Actually Making Progress

There’s a common way people measure progress that actually keeps them stuck.

They look at their thoughts.
They look at their feelings.

And if those are still there… they assume they’re not getting better.

But that’s the wrong metric.

Because the presence of thoughts and feelings isn’t the problem.

Resistance is.

If you’re using tools to try to get rid of thoughts or emotions,
you’re still operating from the same place that created the loop.

And that’s why it continues.

Real progress isn’t about what shows up.

It’s about how you relate to what shows up.

That’s the shift.
